U.K. shares retreat after Boehner statement

U.K. shares fell, after the benchmark index has declined for second straight week, as U.S. Speaker Boehner stated that there will be conditions attached to the federal borrowing limit bill. The FTSE 100 Index slipped 0.8% to 6,400.64 as of 1:04 p.m. London time and it has fallen 0.9% previous week. The FTSE All-Share Index slid 0.8% today, while Ireland's ISEQ Index dropped 0.5%.
