WTI trades near 14-day low amid rising supplies

West Texas Intermediate oil was traded close to its lowest level in almost a 14-day period on Wednesday amid signs of increasing inventories as crude stockpiles advanced 1.1 million barrels last week. WTI for delivery next month was traded 11 cents higher at $94.32 a barrel as of 12:42 p.m. on the NYMEX after the prices fell 96 cents yesterday to $94.21, the largest fall since May 1.

Asian stocks gain to highest level since December 2007

Asian stocks advanced on Wednesday led by Japanese shares increasing to the strongest level since December 2007 and as benchmark 10-year yields of the country's bonds gained the most in more than a year. The MSCI Asia Pacific Index rose by 0.8% as of 1:12 p.m. Tokyo time, while the benchmark government 10-year bonds yielded at 0.92%.
