German CPI increases 1.5% in February

Germany's consumer prices advanced on an annual basis in the month of February mainly due to a notable 12.4% increase of electricity prices, the Federal Statistical Office reported on Tuesday.  Year-on-year, inflation as the consumer price index rose 1.5% in February compared to a level of 1.7% in January, on a sequentially basis the consumer price index added 0.6% in February.

Thailand's Bath increases most in six weeks

The Thailand's Bath rose 0.4% to 29.61 per the U.S. Dollar in early Bangkok trading session on Tuesday. This was the biggest gain in last six weeks and the currency reached 29.57 level, which is the strongest since 29th of August. Investors sharply increased their holdings in nation's debt and equity markets, what boosted an appreciation pressure on the Bath.

AUD/USD retests the 20-day SMA

During Friday's trading session the pair sharply dropped to the weekly PP level at 1.0209, but today the pair has already regained its position and even surged above the 20-day SMA, which is currently located at 1.0257.
