Euro zone's PMI slows down in May

The Markit Flash Composite PMI dropped to 52.9 in May, following the 53.0 result seen in April and posting the lowest result this year. Analysts polled by Reuters expected the Index to improve to 53.2. In the meantime, the Flash Manufacturing PMI came in at 51.5 in May, down from 51.7 in the previous month and compared to market expectations of 51.9, and the Flash Services PMI remained at 53.1, as in April.
