Pound fluctuates as U.K. deficit narrows in October

The British Sterling swung between gains and losses on Thursday versus its U.S. counterpart and the 17-nation bloc currency before a report showed that the U.K. budget deficit narrowed in the month of October. The Pound increased to $1.6178, the most since October 28, and traded at $1.6097 by 7:48 a.m. in London, while it fell to 83.43 pence per Euro.
