Italy's business activity falls more than forecast in July

Italy's business sector activity decreased by more than economists preliminary estimated in July due to a faster pace of drop in sales, a report released by the statistical office Istat showed on Thursday. According to the report, retail sales fell 0.3% on a monthly basis in July after it dropped 0.2% in the month before, while it was expected to slip by 0.1% in July.
