German overseas sales declined 1.1% in August

Germany released data which showed the nation's overseas sales decreased 1.1% in August on a monthly basis, while inbound shipment advanced 0.5%. The largest economy in Europe exported goods worth of 93.4 billion euros and at the same time imported goods worth of 77.3 billion euros in July 2013. The German trade balance indicated a surplus of 16.1 billion euros in July.
