Euro-area bonds rise before ECB lowers rates

European government bonds advanced on Tuesday after a report showed that inflation in the 17-antion bloc area decreased to the lowest level in more than 3 years and as the ECB is expected to lower the benchmark interest rate. German 10-year rates slipped to the lowest in 9 month at 1.18% and Spanish 10-year yield dropped to 4.12%, the lowest level since October 2010.
