U.K. stocks closed slightly higher on Wednesday.
The benchmark FTSE 100 Index gained 0.18%, or 10.07 points, to 5,483.81. The FTSE All-Share Index rose 0.13%, or 3.62 points, to 2,837.66.
"There's still caution because of the Greek elections over the weekend," David Jones, chief market strategist at IG Index, said in a phone interview.
"Nothing dramatic will happen in the next couple of days."
