Germany's foreign trade performed strongly in June 2026. Exports reached a record €139.3 billion, up 0.9% from May and 6.6% from June 2025. Imports also increased significantly to €123.9 billion, up 4.4% from May and 8.4% year-on-year. As a result, Germany recorded a trade surplus of €15.4 billion, lower than in May due to the faster growth in imports. In the first half of 2026, exports increased by 3.7% and imports by 4.4% compared with the same period in 2025.
