Toyota doubles profit

In the first quarter of 2023, Toyota Motor Corporation has managed to double its quarterly profit due to larger productivity and sales. In addition, the company's profits have increased due to the weak Japanese Yen, as costs are paid out in Yen, but most income is in foreign currency.

The news have caused a 2.30% jump of the company's stock price on the New York Stock Exchange. Since May 30, the shares have gained almost 30.00% and reached mid-2022 levels.

META stock jumps due to earnings

The owner of Facebook released its quarterly financial results after Wednesday's market close. Good results have caused a surge of the stock price in Thursday's pre-market trading of $25.00 or 8.50%. The company has reported increases of both revenue and costs. However, the end balance reveals an increased net income of 16% and growth of earnings per share of 21%.
