Gold rebounds after Fed meeting's impact

Gold futures increased during the Asian trade in Thursday as traders' sentiment improved after being dampened by the Fed meeting that did not indicate any signs of further monetary easing. COMEX gold futures for delivery in April traded at 1,644.45 US Dollars per troy ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange, easing up by 0.09%.

India keeps benchmark interest rate unchanged

India's central bank decided to keep its key interest rates steady for a third straight meeting after data showed inflation climbed. The Reserve Bank of India held the repurchase rate unchanged at 8.5% matching analyst expectations. India's rupee weakened 0.6% against US Dollar to INR 50.1938.
