Copper compensates in metals after 5-year drop

Copper showed a gain in base of metals after a harsh drop in five years due to soared credit growth in China. The strong rise of financing, last month, provoked a surge in Chinese equities and lead to the speculation of the surplus of metal sales. Meanwhile, copper for delivery advanced 2.5% while the metal plummeted 5.3% losing 11% this year.

Wall Street predicts Oil to reach $40

The US gauge crude price dropped below $45 and almost $60 since June 2014. According to Goldman Sachs Group Inc. the West Texas Intermediate should control the price near $40 during the first month of 2015 to curb investments in new reserves that could provoke the surplus.
