Brazil Enacts Critical Minerals Policy With Up to 7 Billion Reais in Incentives
Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva signed into law a national policy dedicating up to 7 billion reais ($1.27 billion) to stimulate research, extraction, and domestic processing of critical and strategic minerals, backed by a 2 billion reais federal guarantee fund to bolster mineral sovereignty and supply chains for green technology and defense industries.
