Dukascopy (Suisse) SA with its Risk Dpt. has modified their Risk Management Policy which will be launched on the 9th of November 2007.
The purpose of this new policy is to protect our clients from the risks caused by potential post-weekend price gaps, which may seriously threaten their invested funds.
Algorithm: each Friday from 18:00 [GMT] Dukascopy internal trading system will shorten leverage to 1:30 on every account connected to Dukascopy till Monday market opening. If there is not sufficient amount of equity on one`s account to hold an existing position with a leverage 1:30, then there will be a reverse position opened automatically at the market price (margin cut).
