Gold Price 4H Analysis: Bullish Consolidation Near 4800.00 With Breakout Potential

Gold is currently trading around 4796.73. The price is sitting just below a key resistance level at 4880.00, which is the main barrier bulls need to break for further upside. On the downside, immediate support is at 4730.00, while a stronger structural support lies near 4665.00, aligning closely with the 100-period moving average. A deeper support zone can be found between 4310.00 and 4350.00, where strong buying interest previously emerged.



From a trend perspective, the market is showing bullish signals. Price is trading above the 100 SMA, and the moving average itself is starting to slope upward, indicating improving momentum. After recovering from the 4200.00 area, gold has been forming higher lows, which supports a bullish structure. However, it is currently struggling to break through the 4800.00 area, which is acting as a short-term ceiling.

Overall, the market appears to be in a consolidation phase with a bullish bias. The recent tight price action suggests the market is building pressure before a larger move. If price manages to close decisively above 4800.00 on the 4-hour timeframe, it could push toward 4880.00. On the other hand, if it fails to hold above 4790.00, a pullback toward 4730.00 or even the 4670.00 area near the moving average is likely.
