Downside risks dominated the NZD/USD currency pair on Thursday, thus allowing the pair to reach the support cluster formed by the 55–, 100-hour SMAs and the weekly S1 near 0.6587.
Currently, the pair is testing given support cluster. If it holds, the New Zealand Dollar could make a brief retracement towards the 200-hour SMA at 0.6625.
On the other hand, given that technical indicators flash bearish signals in both the short and long terms, the pair could aim for the weekly S2 at the 0.6533 mark.
