Banco de Mexico to raise rates

On Thursday, the Central Bank of Mexico is expected to raise its interest rates to 7% for the final time this year in order to keep rising inflation at bay.

BoJ official says no need for rate hike

On Thursday, Kikuo Iwata, the Deputy Governor of the BoJ, stated that there is no need to raise interest rates at the moment, due to inflation still being far from the bank's 2% target, also adding that more monetary stimulus is required.
