Microsoft earnings exceed estimates, revenue jumps

Microsoft Corp., the leading software-developing company in the world, posted a higher-than-expected revenues and net profit for the last quarter of the previous year, as the company earned $6.56 billion, up from $6.38 in Q4 of 2012. Total revenues increased 14% to $24.52 billion. Yesterday, Microsoft Corp. equities added 0.35% to $36.06 per share during the trading session in New York.
