South Korea's jobless rate stays stable in October

The South Korean unemployment rate stayed unchanged in the month of October matching initial expectations despite more jobs created in the country, a report published by Statistics Korea revealed on Wednesday. The report showed that jobless rate gained from 2.7% in September to 2.8% in the following month, while the 15-29 age group unemployment rate rose from 7.7% to 7.8% in October.

Non-performing bank loans in China advanced in the three months ended in September from the quarter before, a report published by the China Banking Regulatory Commission unveiled on Wednesday.
