OECD economy is set to slightly expand next months

The performance of economy in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development area is likely to record a stable growth in the coming months, a survey released by the organization showed on Tuesday. According to the report, the OECD's leading economic indicator rose 0.07% on a sequential basis to 100.7 in September, while on an annual basis it advanced 0.97% on the month.

China's stocks fall after Communist Party meeting

Chinese equities declined on Wednesday falling the most in a seven-week period after the yesterday's Communist Party policy meeting provided unclear details about the country's fight against the economic slowdown. The Shanghai Composite Index slipped 1.8% to 2,087.94, the largest fall since September 26 and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index shed 2.7%.
