Sterling weakens as inflation falls
The Sterling dropped 0.3% versus the U.S. currency, thus reaching the weakest level in
two-months, after the U.K. government reported slower inflation of 2.2%, which is the lowest level in a year. The inflation has retreated 0.5% from
previous month, thus almost reaching 2% mark at which the policy makers might
increase interest rate.
