Italy's industrial production advances in September

Industrial production in Italy accelerated for the first time in a three-month period in September with the rate of growth slightly exceeding initial forecast, a report released by the statistical office Istat revealed on Monday. Italy's industrial output gained 0.2% on a sequential basis following a 0.2% drop in the month before, while it was expected to rise 0.1% on the month.
