Stock futures in US edge lower ahead of GDP report

The US stocks were set to open in red, with stock futures declining on upcoming second-quarter GDP data. The DJIA futures dropped 0.2%, those for the Nasdaq 100 index slipped 0.1%, while the S&P 500 index futures dipped 0.2%. Meanwhile the GDP data due to the US today, could weight on the Federal Reserve decision on timing of the possible rate hike.
