Pending Home Sales slide in June

Contrary to expectations of a 0.5% climb in pending home sales, the number of new contracts signed by homebuyers turned out to be disappointing, as the data revealed a 1.1% drop. On a year-on-year basis, pending home sales dropped by 4.5%. Limited access to credit and the slower growth of wages are restraining potential homebuyers, causing the housing recovery to slow down.
