German DAX Index rallied 1.3% on Monday and kept upward trend on Tuesday trade, led by car makers and consumer service firms. All nine industries within the index posted gains, after German investor confidence index unexpectedly rocketed by 32.2 points in January. Daimler AG climbed 3.69%, BMW AG surged 2.76%, while Volkswagen PFD gained 2.59%. Metro AG jumped 3.89%. On the downside was Commerzbank AG, trading down 0.97%. At the moment of writing German DAX is 1.42% or 88.39 points up at 6,308.40.
