Sterling fueled by positive PMI services

Pound jumped versus the greenback as strong construction and manufacturing report from Britain was posted. The Sterling gained 0.45% to $1.5354 versus the U.S. currency and added 0.34% to 0.8655 against the Euro, and remained steady at 151.12 versus the Japanese Yen. U.K. services advanced for the seventh month in July, as PMI increased to 60.2 last month, overshooting analysts forecast of 57.3.
