"Sentiment seems to be quite positive at the moment as the situation in Greece doesn't look so precarious… "
- Christian Zogg, a fund manager at LLB Asset Management
Swiss stocks were little changed on Tuesday.
The Swiss blue-chip index SMI, a measure of the largest and most actively traded companies, lost 0.08%, or 5.16 points, to 6,457.85. The broader Swiss Performance Index slid 0.02%, or 0.94 points, to 5,972.04.
"Macro data have been coming in quite mixed," said Christian Zogg, a fund manager at LLB Asset Management.
"Sentiment seems to be quite positive at the moment as the situation in Greece doesn't look so precarious -- though I don't think it will stay that way for long. The debt crisis could escalate anytime again and we expect further weakening of global growth, which could weigh on markets in the coming months."
