The ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment has somewhat increased by 0.9 points to minus 42.5 in July, indicating a slight improvement of economic expectations for Switzerland, according to data released by the Center for Economic Research.
"The share of analysts expecting the economic development in Switzerland to stay unchanged over the next six months has grown by 5.9 percentage points to 53.7 per cent. After the steep fall in the past month, the economic expectations seem to have stabilized at a low level in July," according to the official publication.
