U.K. stocks closed mixed on Wednesday.
The benchmark FTSE 100 Index gained 0.01%, or 0.41 points, to 5,664.48. The FTSE All-Share Index erased 0.11%, or 3.24 points, to 2,933.95.

The Office for National Statistics is to announce change in year-on-year inflation on Tuesday. Inflation rose 2.8 per cent in May, compared to the same period the previous year.
