Swiss stocks edged higher on Wednesday ahead of central bank policy meetings.
The Swiss blue-chip index SMI, a measure of the largest and most actively traded companies, rose 0.12%, or 7.23 points, to 6,201.31. The broader Swiss Performance Index climbed 0.14%, or 7.99 points, to 5,757.79.
The Federal Statistical Office is to announce change in month-on-month consumer price index on Friday. Inflation was unchanged in May, compared to April.
