Bearish sentiment has been dominating the common European currency against the New Zealand Dollar since the beginning of October. This downside movement began on October 8 and had since guided the exchange rate toward a six-month low level at 1.6600.
The currency pair breached the 50-hour simple moving average at 1.6714 during the morning hours of Tuesday's session.
Given that the EUR/NZD currency exchange rate has dashed through the 50-hour SMA as mentioned above, the next target for bullish traders will be near a resistance cluster formed by the weekly R2 and the 100-hour SMA at 1.6966 during the following trading sessions.
