EUR/USD is in an intermediate downtrend but is currently in a short-term consolidation phase around 1.1530. Price action is below the SMA-60 confirming the bearish trend, but the MACD has shown a bullish crossover and possible divergence, indicating that selling momentum is slowing and buying pressure is building in the short term. Key levels to watch are $1.1500$ support and 1.1550 resistance. The battle between the bearish trend and bullish short-term momentum will be decided by a break of either of these two levels.
