Gold remains in previous range

Since the middle of Monday's trading, the price for gold has been fluctuating around the 1,930.00 mark. In addition, the metal appears to be ignoring the 50, 100 and 200-hour simple moving averages. In general, Monday's forecasts remain actual.

If the price for gold surges above the 1,935.00 level, the commodity price could encounter resistance at 1,940.00 and 1,950.00 levels. In the case that the 1,950.00 mark fails to keep the metal down, new high levels might be reached.

On the other hand, a decline of the price would look for support in the 1,916.7/1,921.65 zone, before declining to the 1,900.00 level and the support zone below it.
