Inflation based on the consumer price index in India slowed down in March after it was rising for five successive months, a report released by the Central Statistics Office showed on Friday. The report showed the general CPI advanced 10.39% on an annual basis in March following a 10.91% increase recorded in February; the March's level is the lowest since November 2012.
