Japanese stocks dropped,sending lower Nikkei 225 Stock Average after its 22-month high on Friday amid speculation that the market is overbought. The Nikkei 225 dropped 0.8% to 10,599.01. All but two sectors in the index declined. Aozora Bank declined 10% to ¥250 and Shinsei Bank Ltd lost 6%, pacing losses in the financials sector that inched 1.5% lower. Aozora Bank tumbled after report showed that Cerberus Capital Management LP aims at selling off its stake of 591.25 million in the company. Technology shares paired the biggest losses, as Fujitsu Ltd erased 5.4% to ¥351 after its rating was downgraded from overweight to neutral. Meanwhile, Seven & Holdings was the leader among best performers with its shares rallying 5.1%, followed by Tokyo Dome Corporation that gained 4.7% to ¥332, adding to gains in the consumer services group that was 1.9% up, the best performing group in the benchmark index. Furthermore, Pioneer Corporation, audio and video equipment manufacturer, added 3.7% to ¥226.
