DAX Weekly Heikin Ashi Analysis

The German Stock Index on the weekly timeframe, using Heikin Ashi candles, has shifted from a long-term bullish trend into a short-term bearish correction. After reaching a peak near 25380.00, the index has formed a series of red Heikin Ashi candles, indicating downward momentum. Resistance is positioned at 25380.00, with a secondary breakdown resistance at 23400.00. Immediate support is around the 20000.00 psychological level, while the current price of 22634.00 is acting as a minor pivot.



The MACD shows bearish exhaustion and divergence, with the MACD line crossing below the signal line, generating a classic sell signal. Both MACD lines slope downward from a previous peak, indicating that a cyclical top has likely been reached and the market is in a cooling-off phase. Overall, the primary trend is bearish in this corrective phase, momentum is negative, and volatility is increasing, reflected by larger candle bodies compared to the late 2025 consolidation. The index is trading below the 23400.00 pivot, and the outlook suggests continued caution as the short-term correction unfolds.
