The Euro traded sideways against the US Dollar, following the US Flash Manufacturing PMI survey results release on Thursday at 13:45 GMT. The EUR/USD exchange currency rate gained 1 pips or 0.01% after the release. The Euro continued trading at the 1.7940 level against the Greenback after the release.
Markit released the US Flash Manufacturing PMI survey results, which came out better-than-expected of 36.9 compared with the forecast of 35.1.
According to the official release: "Private sector firms in the U.S. signalled an unprecedented decline in business activity in April, with manufacturing and service sector companies registering marked contractions of output amid the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)."
