British Pound appreciated on Brexit news

During Friday's trading session, the British Pound appreciated 189 pips or 1.46% against the US Dollar. The GBP/USD currency pair reached one-month high at the 1.3180 level. Note, that the British Pound also appreciated against the Euro.  

The advance was driven by comments of Jeremy Corbin, the leader of Labour Party, that the UK parliament has to break the deadlock over Brexit and accept the deal to leave the EU bloc. 

However, according to analysts, it is unlikely, that the UK could leave the EU before the final deadline in October.
