Japanese stocks higher on soaring domestically-oriented shares

Most Japanese blue chips advanced, sending higher the Nikkei 225 Stock Average, as domestically-oriented shares rallied. The Nikkei 225 Index soared 0.7%, or 11,385.94 by the closing time in Tokyo, climbing nearly 2% on the week. Seven out of ten groups in the benchmark gauge posted gains. COMSYS Holdings Corporation rose 4.8%, the most in the index, to close at 1,217 yen and lifted industrials that were 0.9% higher. Furthermore, UNY Group Holdings Co rose 4.75% to 684 yen, pacing gains in consumer services that gained 1.17%. Tokuyama corporation followed with a 4.6% surge to close at 229 yen, supporting the basic materials sector that was 0.9% up. Among worst performers were Sharp Corp. that erased 3.43% to 310 yen, Citizen Holdings, which produces and sells watches and machine tools, with a 3.4% slump and Asahi Glass Co. that eased 2.8% to 616 yen. Sharp Corporation's stock rallied after the company announced that it is unlikely to include capital injection from Hon Hai Precision Industry Ltd.
