The AUD/USD exchange rate did not introduce any significant change during Friday's trading session. The currency pair bounced off the lower boundary of a one-week ascending channel and has remained trading along the pattern.

The Aussie has moved to the border of a junior ascending channel and a breakout could be expected through the lower boundary within the following session. Meanwhile. the 55– hour simple moving average has closely guided the price movement north.

Some downside potential still exists in the market. Technical indicators flash mixed signals. On the four-hour time frame, it suggests the pair could rally. While on the daily time-frame, it favour strong sell signals.
