Average house prices in the UK declined by 0.2% last month, after falling by 0.1% in March. The property prices in the country have declined for the fourth consecutive month in April, signaling that recent stamp duty holiday appeared to create a short-lived stimulus for the real estate sector. The property prices are likely to continue falling taken fiscal problems in the EU. However, NewBuy scheme implemented by the government may bolster the demand slightly in short-term.
