Aussie rises amid domestic business confidence figure

The Australian Dollar rose against the US Dollar after domestic business confidence figure posted better-than-expected results. The Business Confidence Index in June jumped to 10 from revised 8 in May, while the Business Conditions Index rose to 11 from the May's figure of 6. The Aussie added 0.3% to 0.7426 against the Greenback by 8:40 AM GMT, the gains were capped by a strong US Dollar.

The Euro fell 0.04% to 1.1001 against the Greenback by 8:15 AM GMT, after Europe's largest economy's inflation figure in June failed to impress.
