Italian manufacturing expands amid rise in output and orders

Activity in the production sector of Italy continued to expand in the last month, as the increase in number of new orders and manufacturing output led the employment level in the country to show the first advance since May 2011. The benchmark PMI Index for the manufacturing sector of Italian economy jumped to 51.4 points in November against 50.7 in October, matching analysts' expectations.
