Loonie falls as BOC Governor admits stimulus

The Canadian currency declined on Wednesday dropping to the weakest level in seven weeks after Governor of the nation's central bank Stephen Poloz announced that temporary stimulus would have positive impact on Canadian commodity exports. The so-called Loonie slipped 0.2% to C$1.0469 per U.S. Dollar as of 5 p.m. Toronto time following a drop to the lowest level since September 6.
