Copper rises as China's imports increase in September

Copper traded in London advanced on Monday rising for a second day after a report showed that imports of refined metal in the world's largest user, China, jumped 18% to 347,305 metric tons in the month of September. Copper for settlement in January gained 0.3% to $7,267.75 a ton as of 8:05 a.m. after the prices rose 0.2% on October 18.
