Congress approves debt ceiling increase as shutdown ends

United States Congress voted for the increase of country's debt ceiling, as the government will open after 16 days of closure. U.S. state employees are planned to return to work today. The bipartisan Democratic-Republican agreement includes government financing through January 15, while the debt ceiling is raised until February 7. Moreover, Congress must prepare the full budget plan until December 13.
