Australian Dollar headed for biggest one-week advance

The Australian currency is headed for its first one-week climb in approximately a month ahead of inflation data that will be released next week. The Aussie slid 0.1% to 91.64 U.S. cents at 4:43 p.m. Sydney time and is set for 1.3% gain weekly. New Zealand's currency added 0.1% to 79.05 U.S. cents and is headed for 1.7% rise; however, it fell 0.3% to 79.10 Japanese Yen today.

Asian shares decline as technology stocks fall; TSMC drops

Asian shares declined, with the regional benchmark index heading towards a fall for the third day, as Advantest Corp. and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation pushed technology shares lower. German bonds unchanged after producer prices data

German government securities were virtually unchanged after data release showed that country's producer prices stagnated in June, while experts predicted a decline of 0.1%. 10-year government bunds were poised for a third consecutive week of gains after Bernanke's claim that the Fed will not decrease its stimulus.
