U.K. average house price gain 0.4% in April

The average price asked for a house in the United Kingdom rose by 0.4% on an annual basis on April recording a slow-down from the previous month's advance of 1.4%, a data unveiled by a property tracking website Rightmove showed on Monday. According to the data, asking prices jumped 2.1% on a sequential basis in March rising from a 1.7% increase in February.
