China's inflation close to the slowest pace in 2 years in Septmeber
China's inflation cooled almost to
the slowest pace in 2 years in September, providing the government with a room for
policy easing if the economy weakens further after import reported showed domestic
demand weakness. Consumer prices increased 1.9% from the previous year, while
the producer price index declined 3.6%, according to the National Bureau of
Statistics.
